2010 Solo & Ensemble Results - WOW!!
Fifty four members of the Thundering Horns Band traveled to College Park High School in the Woodlands on Februray 19th and competed in the UIL Region 9 Solo & Ensemble Competition.
The band came home with a total of 56 "First Division" medals (the BEST rating). Here is the break down:
Class 1 Solo Medals (Advances to State): 1
Class 1 Ensemble Medals(Advances to State): 48
Class 3 Ensemble Medals: 7
We have broken the previous band record of (30) students (set two years ago) to (37) students going to the UIL Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest.
